upper back pain upon waking

Please diagnose me…?
I have a light fever, yesterday and the day before I had a bad headache possibly due to lack of sleep (but Im in med school, im used to that, and this was way worse than usual, it just didn’t go…). Today though, I woke up rather early with chills, felt really cold and i feel sensitivity along my rear neck and upper back. I don’t have bad stomache aches, no yellowness or odd colors on my body, urine color normal, didn’t eat anything out of the ordinary for my diet.
My pulse, feels a little weaker than I usually feel it, but i don’t think it’s anything special really. I feel weak-ish, and my eyes feel a tad irritated, maybe tired-like, mostly to the sides. again, no odd colors observed.
No tooth aches or abdominal pains upon touching. My lower back doesn’t hurt when I touch around and above that area.
I have no idea what this could be, but it feels real bad
please help..
thanks in advance
Try touching your chin to your chest. If it’s painful, it could be meningitis (which is the first thing that I think of when anyone says fever with neck/upper back pain). If you’re in med school then I don’t have to tell you how dangerous meningitis can be… so, you should probably go get checked out to err on the side of caution. Hope you feel better soon! Good Luck!
