sciatica foot drop
drop foot can any one give me advice/information please?
since iv had back surgery to relive sciatica iv been left with a numb and tingling foot which is quite sore im wearing a foot brace and attending phsio i know its know as foot drop but i have no other infomation on it what can i do to make it better so i dont walk with a lopsided limp as im getting really depressed and concionces of it (sp)
Foot drop is a medical sign for the nerve not working, the muscle not working or an anatomical problem. I would guess your’s is due to the nerve. Peripheral nerves do regrow so since you’ve had surgery to relieve the pressure on your sacral nerve, give it time and attend the physical therapy and you’ll see improvements.
