pain relief after knee replacement

Does anyone know any good pain relief methods – without using any type of drugs?

In May I was in a car accident and basically broke everything on the right side, from my hip down [hip, knee, leg, ankle and foot]. I ended up getting a partial hip replacement and an ankle replacement. The only thing that really still bothers me is the ankle.

Right now my ankle is aching. When I bend my toes, the pain shoots up my foot. I have a lot of pain medications, none of which I take – with the kids around I’d rather not be drugged out of my head =]. I can’t find a position where my ankle isn’t hurting or I’m not uncomfortable.

Any suggestions on how I could stop the pain? Or possibly dull it enough to get comfortable?

Thanks!
I do PT. I think I see my therapist more than I see my husband =] I’ve also taken aleve and it did nothing.

I was given tramadol, flexerol, percocet and morphine patches since my perlvic bone hurts a lot [because of the accident. it was burised and cracked, but not fully broken]

I know you’re gonna think this is supra retarded but…
Meditate (:
It really helps me when I’m in emotional or physical pain.
Here’s a vid to teach you how:

Simply position yourself with your legs stretched out in front of you if your ankle hurts that badly, but remember to keep a straight back.

I’m really sorry about the car accident.
‘Hope yah get better soon! :D
