herniated disc emergency
HELP!!! I fell in a store and i feel it was their fault what should i do?
3 Days ago I fell in a store because of the wet floor. It was raining out and they had no mats when you walk in to wipe your feet or any signs up. I fell flat on my butt and hurt my back. I notified the manager and filled out an incident report and later that night I went to the emergency room. I have another doctor’s appointment in 2 days and I have to go get an MRI to check for a herniated disc. Im in a lot of pain and the store already said that they will pay for my doctor bills since I don’t have insurance…but should I sue….for neglect or what. I mean I am 21 and I have never had back problems until 3 days ago and now I might have something seriously wrong. PLEASE HELP
Was it the store’s fault that it was raining outside??? Common sense would tell you to be careful when walking into a store after being out in the rain. They are being quite generous paying for your medical bills. But if you feel that strongly that it was the store’s fault that you fell, contact an attorney and tell them your case. But remember, you’ll probably have to pay for the attorney.
