What disease causes neck and back pain and muscle rigidity?
There are too many causes for back-neck pain and muscle rigidity to list here. Some are common to a lot of us and others are the symptoms of some pretty serious medical conditions. If you over exercise, or even sit for too long in one position, you will experience back-neck pain. If you have arthritis or rheumatism, you also could experience pain in that area. If you are experiencing neck-back pain for a while and over the counter meds have not helped and you do not have an idea what is causing the symptoms, it might be time to make an appointment and see your doctor. Your body is good about telling you that somethings needs to be checked out.
